At VOIS, purpose has always been part of who we are. Our ambition is simple: to help create a more inclusive, sustainable and digitally connected future. We’re proud to build on the legacy of Vodafone and the Vodafone Foundation, whose work has improved millions of lives - advancing digital inclusion, supporting young people with skills, and using technology to tackle some of society’s biggest challenges. At VOIS, we share the same ethos. In the past year alone, more than 2300 of our people have volunteered nearly 17,000 hours of their time, supporting communities around the world through mentoring, training and social initiatives. Now, we’re taking the next step with the launch of VOIS For Good - our new global social impact strategy, designed to scale the positive difference we can make.
VOIS For Good is built around a simple idea: where technology meets purpose. It reflects what we do best - bringing together technology, ambition and Shared Intelligence to solve real-world challenges. Where we can make the biggest difference. We’re focusing our efforts on where we know we can have the greatest impact: Bridging the digital divide: helping more people access the tools, skills and opportunities they need to fully participate in the digital world. Youth employability skills and job readiness: supporting young people as they navigate a rapidly changing job market and equipping them with the skills and confidence to succeed. These are global challenges but also areas where we believe we can make a practical and lasting difference. A coordinated approach. VOIS For Good brings together existing programmes and new initiatives into a single global framework, combining collaboration with the Vodafone Foundation, scaling VOIS-led initiatives, and building global strategic partnerships to accelerate progress. By combining expertise, technology, volunteers and partners, we can extend the reach of proven programmes and greater impact at scale. This enables us to connect local successes and expand them, creating more consistent and meaningful impact across the communities where we operate.
VOIS and Schneider Electric are working together to empower more girls and young women to pursue STEM careers through volunteering, mentorship and skills development. This directly addresses a critical challenge: women remain underrepresented in STEM fields, including industries central to the energy transition. The Women in STEM Digital Training-of-Trainers programme is an online course that equips mentors and volunteers with practical tools to better support girls considering STEM education and careers. It is designed to make mentoring more structured, inclusive and impactful. At VOIS, we help raise awareness of the programme and scale its reach through volunteering, advocacy and knowledge-sharing.You can take the training here
VOIS For Good is more than a strategy - it is a commitment to act, to scale up what works, and to use our strengths to address real-world challenges. It reflects our belief that when technology, talent and Shared Intelligence come together, meaningful and lasting change is possible. At its heart, this is about people - the individuals we support, the communities we strengthen, and our colleagues who bring their time, skills and passion to make a difference every day. We have a bold ambition: to positively impact 100,000 people by 2027, and half a million by 2030. It’s also about the opportunities we will create - skills gained, confidence built, and future shaped. We believe organisations like ours have both the opportunity and the responsibility to lead.
