Vodafone Business has signed a ground-breaking four-year strategic partnership with Centrica, the parent company of British Gas and Hive, to deliver Workplace Services and connectivity to 80 sites and 30,000 devices across the UK.
This agreement positions Centrica to become a more flexible, integrated, and agile organisation by transitioning from a traditional managed service approach to a data-driven enterprise. Leveraging GenAI and machine learning, Centrica aims to enhance productivity and provide personalised experiences for both customers and employees. It also paves the way for combined connectivity and energy offers for UK customers.
This is a landmark commercial deal for VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) since signing its strategic partnership with Accenture in October 2024.
The partnership also includes a social impact commitment, with Vodafone supporting Centrica’s work on tackling fuel poverty through the British Gas Energy Trust.
VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) is a Vodafone entity that provides end-to-end professional services in the area of technology and business operations.
VOIS helps accelerate business outcomes for customers through its talented global team of 34,000 professionals spread across 10+ countries: Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.
VOIS has grown to become the largest shared services organisation in the Telco industry serving Vodafone markets, and since 2024 now also uses its 15+ years of experience and deep market expertise to deliver services outside of Vodafone to other Telcos and wider industry sectors including Utilities and Media.
Vodafone’s strategy to commercialise VOIS’ services is underpinned by a strategic joint venture with Accenture, which went live in Oct 2024.
