Our fraud management systems triggered alerts that had historically configured rules to meet specific requirements. After detailed analysis, we had to identify markets with a high ratio of false positive alarms and make system changes so that it doesn't hamper fraud detection or throw the system out of gear.

Solutions

We created a workgroup supporting Italy and VCS to analyse the historical output of each rule, examine their filters, and detect any redundant rules. We presented analysis outcomes and change proposals to the service owners.
